Posted by The Oracle on September 4, 2007

I have spent many annoying times trying to open documents and wanting to download files on-line only to find windows does not support the effort.  Linux based and open source software has many useful programs that are not compatible with windows but I have found one solution to my problem. Zamzar. With this site file conversion and on-line video download is possible and easy. Just visit the site and see for yourself. If you have any good on-line suggestions let me know.

UBUNTU It can’t hurt !

Posted by The Oracle on June 27, 2007

It seems that some folk are still stuck in the rut of condeming Ubuntu and generaly Linux op systems believing Microsoft can only be the true computer system.

Well despite attempts at finding fault with Ubuntu, remember that there is a wealth of Linux knowledge out there for anyone to tap into for free and if a problem should show its self you only need ask and answers will be given or the problem solved from the inside. Anyhow, if you don’t try you’ll never know. Try a split drive with Ubuntu on half of it, the experience may surprise you.

Words of emotion

Posted by The Oracle on February 25, 2007

Poetry may be not the popular reading that it was many years ago but it is still the choosen read of many.

But, how many of you have considered writing it instead of reading it. To get some ideas, try looking at what other, non published poets have written. Some web sites give the opportunity to read and write poetry. Start with Poetry Publisher and see where it leads.
